Shortening the Service Day (Monday-Friday) - Both bus service and paratransit service will begin operating at 6:30 a.m. instead of 6:00 a.m.  

 

Elimination of Route C and Route K – Rothschild, Schofield and Weston have each notified us of their intent to eliminate our services in 2012.   Without their financial support, the routes cannot be operated.  

 

Elimination of Paratransit Service in Rothschild/Schofield/Weston – Our paratransit service is designed to serve areas where bus routes are operated. Since Routes C and K are being eliminated, paratransit service in those municipalities will be eliminated as well.   

 

Change in Paratransit Service Provider – Metro Ride paratransit services will no longer be provided by Abby Vans.  Metro Ride will provide paratransit services directly. To schedule a ride, please call Metro Ride at 715-842-9287, before 4:30 p.m. on the day before your anticipated ride. If you scheduled any 2012 rides with Abby Vans and we have not contacted you to confirm, please call us at 715-842-9287. 

 

Strollers, shopping carts and similar wheeled devices brought aboard the bus must be folded, kept out of the aisle at all times and secured behind a barrier such as a stationary seat.  In cases where folding is not feasible, the device may be stowed in a wheelchair securement area if available, with the brakes locked and securement straps used to hold the device in place.  Children may not remain in strollers while the bus is in motion.
